How to add your existing project to “Git” from Terminal Command Line

1) Open Terminal (cmd + shift and type terminal)

2) Select your folder with cd command

cd desktop

cd yourProjectFolder

3) Initialize the project folder

git init

4) Then “remote add”

git remote add origin https://git.YourGitAccountName.cloud/YourProjectFolder.git

5) Add your changes with the following command below.

git add .

6) Write your commit.

For example:

git commit -m “firstcommit”

7) Push your project with push command below.

git push -u origin master

8) Type login git cloud credentials to be able to push it.

Username for: YourGitUserName

Password for: YourGitUserPassword

That’s all. You’ve just deployed your files successfully.
